Well, well... it's rather been a while since I did a journal entry hasn't it? Of course, just like everything else, there are reasons for things. The reasons are too long and involved to get into here in great detail, but that's life. And besides... most of you who will read this know what's been happening the past year anyway. *grins* I've been fairly vocal in my discontent about the situation.

On a better note I'm pleased to say that the nightmare is finally over. I'm working again, and my savings account is re-inflating nicely. I'm finally able to bend my mind to other things without undue stress. -Very- nice place to be in.

Ironically, over the past year my creative side has exploded. My writing has developed phenomenally (my personal opinion), and my original story ideas have grown considerably. Pretty much to the point that once I get my cultural research done (as my ideas are set in our world) I'll be ready to write in earnest.

I've also re-discovered my passion for visual art, and am, once more, attempting to learn to draw. I'm going to try learning through digital drawing this time as traditional media tends to irritate and frustrate me... Something about pencils just drives me up the wall when I'm trying to learn.

Right now I've got plans to save up my money and get a copy of Corel Painter 11 and a nice Wacom tablet. Naturally, I'll be posting my better stuff here as I develop and improve.
